Arthur St, Fortitude Valley

Oculus completed Point Cloud Scanning and BIM modeling services at Arthur Street, Fortitude Valley. The Structural Engineer (TRSC) was engaged to assess water ingress issues however, after historical drawings were found to be incorrect engaged Oculus to create full as-built documentation for the project. Point Cloud Capture was completed of the building envelope, internal spaces to establish existing conditions. The registered scan data was processed into an as-built BIM model providing dimensional verification of the structure, identification of discrepancies between constructed and documented conditions, and spatial analysis to support investigation of water ingress pathways. The deliverable enabled remediation assessment and correction of record drawings to reflect the constructed condition of the building.
