Reality Capture to Realtime Monitoring

  • Oculus uses the latest high-speed terrestrial and mobile laser scanners from Trimble & NavVis, combined with powerful software and decades of engineering expertise to produce precise, relevant data transforming physical spaces into actionable digital 3D assets.

Our LiDAR devices capture spatial information at unprecedented speed and accuracy, eliminating the guesswork from planning and as-built documentation.

  • Scan-to-BIM is the transformation of point cloud and site data into intelligent, parametric Building Information Models (BIM) using industry standard Autodesk software to create accurate digital representations that integrate seamlessly with your design and facility management workflows.

Off shoring 3D drafting will always be cheaper in the short term however projects suffer when reworking models become necessary to progress.

Oculus can work with your company standard to provide As-builts you can rely on.

  • Oculus deploys advanced drones from leading manufacturer DJO, equipped with high-resolution & multi-spectrum cameras, LiDAR, and thermal sensors, and other high-tech accessories to rapidly capture aerial data that's either impossible or unsafe to obtain through traditional methods, delivering comprehensive site intelligence from above.

  • Whether the project impacts critical transport infrastructure, heritage buildings, or sensitive neighbours, we have completed dilapdation surveys and impact assessments for all types of major projects around South East Queensland.

Oculus is fully versed in working with stakeholders to satisfy conditions from SARA, local, state, or federal governments, or assets owner/operators (TMR, QR)

Our Dilapidation Surveys, Impact Assessments, Management Plans, and Engineering Reports are all certified by nationally registered RPEQ Engineers

  • Whether protecting heritage buildings during adjacent construction, tracking crack propagation in concrete structures, or monitoring bridge performance under service loads, our monitoring systems provide the quantitative evidence needed for engineering decisions and regulatory compliance.

Some of our in-house developed sensors include:

    • Vibration / Accelerometers

    • Tiltmeters

    • Geophones

    • Displacement

    • Strain & Crack Gauges

    • Structural Health

    • Dust, Noise, & Air Quality

  • Being environmentally conscious is being a responsible operator and protecting your workforce and community. Our systems track everything from dust emissions to water quality, and monitoring retention systems and cut faces for strain and displacement. We provide automated alerts when parameters approach limits and draft Registered Engineering Reports regulators & government bodies require.

Some of sensors we use include:

    • Inclinometers

    • Dust & Air Qaulity

    • Noise Monitoring

    • Geophones

    • Piezometers

    • Water quality

    • Water Velocity

  • Monitoring data can give you more than compliance. Oculus can set you up for success with bespoke real-data feedback loops using our sensor, insight, implement system.

    Increasing effeciency with realworld data.
